Winter
I was going through my old creative writing journal from high school the other day. Most of it is garbage. Of course, most of it is poetry, which is not my forté. This one was the only one that wasn't garbage. I don't think it's great, but it's solid. The assignment was to write a poem using the five senses. I don't know what kind of poem this is, but feel free to let me know. Enjoy. I look out to see the beauty of the snow covering the trees, Overlooked by so many. I feel refreshed as the snow melts on my face. I taste the snow as it lands on my tongue. I hear the sound of the wind, Carrying the snow throughout the land. Can you see The beauty of winter?
